Locals has instituted a requirement that all groups have a paid subscription. Many AmCon groups have left locals since this was instituted on Jan. 25. After discussing the situation with the group leadership we have decided to stay on locals and put a $2 subscription in place.
Why we decided to:
Whenever you join a free platform, YOU are the product. Your information is recorded and sold to make the company money. Servers, data, and support staff are not free. The company has to make money to pay these things. This also means that any group on a free platform is subject to being deplatformed without cause.
As paying members, however minimal, Locals has an incentive to respect us. We will continue to act within their TOS, community guidelines, as well as our our mission. Locals can be a place we share information and continue to grow as a community dedicated to community emergency preparedness. For those that wish to not subscribe you are still welcome to be part of this group. We will make announcements open to the free side as well as paid so that you can keep up to date on group news.
Members that chose to subscribe will be given a discount to our monthly training sessions that is equal to their subscription fee.

There is going to be a hand to hand Self Defense workshop on Tuesday the 17th from 7pm - 9 pm. It is being taught by a martial arts school specialized in hand to hand defense.
Cost is $30
Payment can be made in cash or via Venmo.
