The NWS provides training to citizen spotters that can then submit reports to be used to protect life and property. This training also gives you the ability to increase your situational awareness around hazardous weather. These reports can be sent in via phone, email, ham radio, or social media.

There is going to be a hand to hand Self Defense workshop on Tuesday the 17th from 7pm - 9 pm. It is being taught by a martial arts school specialized in hand to hand defense.
